Who Makes the Coffee??

A married couple was arguing about who is making the coffee. The wife said that in the Bible it says that men should make the coffee and the husband asked her where it said that. The wife opened the Bible and said: "Right here in HEBREWS!"

I am sure you have often heard the phrase 'comfort zone', but what does it mean? According to the Cambridge Dictionary, a comfort zone is  a  situation  in which you  feel   comfortable  and in   which  your   ability  and  determination  are not being  tested . A Google search returned the following definitions:         1.  A  settled working method that requires little effort and yields only barely                     acceptable results.          2.  A situation where one feels safe or at ease.   Having established a comfort zone, I am sure we can all identify with this state. Think on These Things - Hidden in Plain Sight

  A few days ago, I was editing a document at work. I came across an unfamiliar word and so I stopped to check for its meaning,m in order to be sure that it was being used correctly. When I returned to the document, I could not remember the section where I had come across the word.  I read several lines in the general area hoping to find the word and continue. That proved to be a difficult task. Look as I may, I could not locate the word. I thought it strange. My eyes were really playing tricks on me. A few minutes ago I was seeing the word for the first time, and in a few minutes, it seemed to have totally disappeared from the page. I then resorted to a word search of the document and eventually found the elusive word. It was right in front of me, yet hidden in plain sight. It boggles my mind how such a thing could ever happen, but as the saying goes, 'truth is stranger than fiction.' But it is certainly not farfetched that such a thing could happen. Devotional - Plug Into The Source

  I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much   fruit; for without Me you can do   nothing.     John 15: 5 It was very hot, muy caliente, and so, in a desperate bid to get relief, I turned on my fan. But the anticipated relief did not materialize. The fan did not budge. It did not seem to be working. Puzzled, I got up to check as I thought it was malfunctioning. Everything seemed to be intact, but on closer examination, I realized that it was not plugged into the socket. It was therefore lacking the power it needed to do its job. By itself, it could not function, it couldn’t fulfill the purpose for which it was created, but as soon as it was connected to the source of power, it was good to go.  It provided a cool refreshing breeze to combat the fierce heat, providing a sense of comfort and relief.
